Travel Note
Welcome to Cape Elizabeth, the Tokyo of coastal Maine. A small peninsula that, according to the Maps app on my phone, looks upon the Fox Island Thoroughfare. So that’s cool. Officially founded in 1765 by Bartholomew Gosnold (not a fake name), this sleepy beach town has a whole lot of rhythms! The Cape Elizabeth High School sports teams are… the Capers. A+ for effort
Flight
Maine, much like Texas, is one of America's 48 contiguous states. This means you can get there in all sorts of ways, including plane! The closest airport to our venue is the Portland International Jetport, in Portland, Maine and the furthest is in Perth, Australia. I highly recommend the former. You can also fly into Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts, which is an hour and a half drive away on a good day, and a 48 hour drive on a very very very very bad day
Hotel
The Westin is located in downtown Portland and is about a 17 minute drive to the venue, or a 2 hour and 34 minute walk if you're feeling ambitious. We have reserved a block of rooms at this hotel; book through the link to reserve the group rate. Or call and tell them that Nick sent you. They won't know what it means but it's worth a shot *If you're having trouble booking, set the dates for Friday, June 20 through Sunday, June 232. Or give them a call at (207) 517-8822
Hotel
If you’d like, you can stay at the wedding venue with us (not with us with us, you'll get your own room). The Inn by the Sea is a beautiful inn that is right by the sea. And if that didn’t convince you, here’s more information: there’s a pool, beach access, a full-service spa, and more! There's a rumor that Blake Griffin will be staying here too...
