This is a must do while in Medellin and one of Sara's personal favorite day trip spots! Full of history and activities like water sports on the reservoir over the submersed town of El Penol, or climbing the 740 steps up the 200m rock for the gorgeous view, its perfect for anyone looking for an adventure! Just keep in mind that it is further out of the city and so you will need to coordinate transportation accordingly.
Provenza is an absolute must while in Medellin! This street is the heart of the party scene in Medellin and is located right in El Poblado. It's filled with tons of restaurants, boutiques and bars that come alive at night, definitely recommend!
This one's for you nature lovers! Its an ecological park right outside of Medellin that you get to via the Metrocable, giving you an awesome view of the city on the way. There are tons of different activities you can do while there like hiking, ziplining and so much more. Fun day trip for groups!
This one is a classic when visiting Medellin and another one of our personal favorites! If you are looking for a quick activity I'd recommend taking a stroll through the plaza, grabbing an empanada (do not miss out on the street food here!) and checking out the 23 famous Botero statues.
