We're getting married!

Neither of us walked into college intending to be in a relationship any time soon. In fact, separately (before we met of course) we decided not to be in one during our first year of school, a lot of that reasoning being because of the pressure of dating in a Christian school. Maybe that's why we both refused to acknowledge the clear sparks for as long as we possibly could. Finally, it all came to a head on October 10th, 2022. Sara, in the back of a friends car, in a moment of courage said the words, "I like the way you make me feel, and I want to feel that way all the time." And with that, we hit the ground running as a couple, officially beginning a relationship together on October 26th, 2022. We knew very early in how much we cared for each other, but wanted to take it at the pace we felt was right, both with us personally and with the values that we took from the Bible. We weren't very good at it at first (and still aren't perfect), but we're confident in the approval of our union from God and from the friends and family that have been extremely supportive to us since the beginning. Josiah decided to go down to Dallas to meet Sara's church family and blood family, and this is where we started seeking premarital counseling and informing loved ones of our future wedding! We hope to show the community in Dallas the love that we found in Christ, and reflect that love onto each other during our wedding. We both have been blessed enough to know for a fact the person that we want to spend the rest of our lives with, and we want to start the first day of the rest of our lives with our guests!
