For those that are not from the area - The bride absolutely love New York!!! NY is over the bridge and a popular location for tourist. We are excited to share a few sites to visit in NY when you are exploring this weekend. Hop on the Path Train or NJ Transit and make your way into the city. NJ Transit does go to and from Newark Airport to NYC. Dover Station is about 5 minutes from the Hilton Garden Inn Rockaway, the NJ Transit goes straight to Penn Station (NY) as well. Please check scheduled time.

Times Square

Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the neon lights and billboards. You can catch award-winning plays and musicals. You will not be disappointed.

Statue of Liberty

Who can say no to visiting this National Monument. Grab a ticket for a ferry ride to see this beauty up close.

Central Park

Put on your comfy shoes and explore Central Park. Pick up a delicious bagel and grab a seat at a bench to enjoy the beautiful park.

9/11 Memorial & Museum

Chinatown is a must visit if you're wanting to try delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine. Bring cash. Some of the best restaurants only accepts cash.

Little Italy

Little Italy is just across the street from Chinatown. Don't forget to stop there for delicious Italian food.

NY Hot Dogs

Our favorite hot dogs are from the hot dog carts located around NYC. It's a must!!!

Pizza

You can't leave NY without enjoying a delicious NY style pizza. There really is something in the northeast water. Almost any pizzeria is delicious. You will regret not getting your hands on a slice of pizza!
