Sara and Dan met in late 2016 and had their first date at Dave and Busters. Where Dan crushed Sara in a game of bowling but Sara was victorious in their game of pool. A few more dates and they knew, they would spend the rest of their lives together.
The saying is the first year of marriage is the hardest. So why not add a twist. Covid. The bane of everyone’s existance. Forcing the postponement of their original wedding just 4 days before it was to happen. While heartbroken, they decided to find the beauty in the intimate moment they were able to have. They still tied the knot on their original date, 3/20/20! They then planned and postponed again. All while being quarantined together, becoming new home owners and adopting their fur baby, Gunner. Also affectionately known as: Bubbas, chicken, noodle and stinky boy. While everyone shares the same hatred for covid, it provided the rare opportunity for this couple to learn and grow together in a unique setting. It made their relationship stronger and their love grew in ways they never expected. What better way to celebrate their first year of marriage than with those who are most important to them.
