We’re getting married!

"I dig your beard," she wrote, making the first move. "I dig your smile," he responded. "So what do you do in town?" In that first conversation, Dan and Sara quickly figured out that the ranch house on 80 acres of farmland that Dan had just moved into was previously going to be rented to Sara. Instead, she had decided to rent a little duplex all to herself. "Don't worry about it," the landlord told Sara after she apologetically refused the opportunity to live in such a unique and beautiful place. "There's a grad student in genetics who wants to rent the whole place with two of his friends, so it all works out." And a month later, that grad student was Dan, and he was messaging with Sara from the comfort of his new ranch home. And Dan thought, "If she was seriously considering living out here, she and I must have a lot in common." They met a few days later at the Davis Beer Shoppe for their first date, had a second date the following week to shoot some pool, and, for their third date, went for a bike ride to have a picnic dinner underneath the Supermoon. While biking to the picnic spot, Dan was humming a tune, and when Sara correctly asked, "Are you humming Tom Waits?", they both knew something special was happening. Sara and Dan's initial infatuation quickly grew into a profound attraction and appreciation for one another, and their chemistry and compatibility continues to exceed their expectations on a daily basis.
