Which hotel should I book?

Answer

Our preferred hotels are the Kimpton Tryon Park and the Hyatt Centric. The Kimpton is located in Uptown Charlotte and is best for guests who would prefer a more walkable experience. We will be staying at the Kimpton, so this option is best if you are interested in going out for drinks with us after the wedding. Valet parking is $40 per day and self parking is $30 per day at the Kimpton. The Hyatt Centric is in the Southpark area near restaurants and shopping. The Hyatt has free parking and is located closer to the reception.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There will be a shuttle from all hotels (including Hampton Inn) to the ceremony and the reception on Saturday. We recommend driving or taking an Uber/Lyft to the welcome drinks on Friday.

What is the shuttle schedule for Saturday?

Answer

Shuttles will pick up guests from each hotel at 4:15PM. They will run continuously from the reception to the hotels as needed.

If I choose to drive, will there be parking?

Answer

There is free parking at Duke Mansion and Quail Hollow Club. Feel free to leave your car overnight at Quail Hollow if needed. The easiest parking for Myers Park Methodist Church is across the street in the Harris Teeter parking lot or in the lot across from the church on Queens Road.

Will any events be held outdoors?

Answer

Rain or shine, the party will go on! All events will be indoors, but cocktail hour will include an outdoor patio portion.
