We're getting married!

We met at our apartment complex's pool on the 4th of July. Immediately after I saw him I turned to my friends and said "he's the one, I'm going to talk to him." We talked for a couple hours and as the day was winding down I asked if he wanted to go to dinner, basically we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me ;) We had an eventful first day together and it just got better and better every day after that!

During the COVID era we decided to escape to the mountains near Asheville since our Greece trip got canceled. We hiked up a mountain above the clouds, once we reached the top I suggested we take a break and soak up the amazing views. I pulled out a blanket and some snacks for us and suggested we take some pictures to remember this awesome view. My heart was racing and ankle was hurting (I was so nervous I tripped halfway up the mountain and rolled it) I pretended to be having some trouble with the tripod and asked if she would help and when she turned around and got ready for the picture I got down on one knee and asked if we could spend the rest of our lives together! It was the most beautiful moment! The only other people around was an older couple who teared up and wished us lots of happiness in our future together.
