Beach Wedding Time!!!

If you trace it back, Sapna and Piyush met in 2004 at a Maheshwari convention (MMNA) and continued to meet multiple times over the years to follow at such events. If you ask Sapna she would have called Piyush a mere acquaintance, and Piyush would have said they were just friends. They both thought the other was too weird and could never imagine anything between them. Fast forward to Thanksgiving weekend 2022, and they met again after some time while at the MMNA convention in Houston. They haven't changed much, but have grown enough over the years to realize what they are looking for in a partner (but didn't see it yet, unlike some others). Now the meddling starts- Piyush's aunt and Sapna's Aunt agreed that they would make a great couple and the schemes begin... Sapna's mom keeps telling her to talk to some Piyush Taparia. Piyush's aunt kept telling Piyush that Sapna Malani would be a solid match for him. Two months later- fed up with the calls, Piyush slid into Sapna's Insta DM's (with the help of a squirrel) to discuss their thoughts about the setup. They decided to set up a video call a few days later to come up with a story to share with their respective sides to why they likely would not work as a couple (besides the cross-country distance). However, to their surprise, they had much in common and a lot to talk about as well as catch up on. Few calls later, Piyush actually ended up coming to California to visit Sapna, and they hit it off instantly! Fast-forward a few months to a camping trip at Big Sur on Memorial Day weekend, Piyush felt the moment was right, and proposed spontaneously with a ring pop (picture below) . Sapna bit the ring pop before saying yes! Luckily (as Piyush's nickname), he had a few spare ring pops with him so they could take pics and call family and close friends to share the good news. He then proposed again with an un-edible ring in June. Sapna packed up her life in Cali and moved to New York to end the long distance relationship and start their amazing new life together. She no longer calls him a mere acquaintance now! They can't wait to celebrate with you all!!!
