Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, please get your passport ASAP if you do not already have one. Please be sure to check your expiration dates as well. You may visit the Travel tab for a link to apply for your passport.

Should I bring Pesos?

Answer

Bringing pesos is recommended for leaving tips and in-town purchases. Many U.S. banks will convert dollars to pesos for their customers. You can also use a currency exchange ATM when you land in Cancun.

What should I pack?

Answer

Aside from your outfits for the wedding festivities, here are some essentials we recommend packing: Valid U.S. Passport Bathing suits, cover ups, sunhats, sunglasses, sandals Sunscreen and mosquito repellant Waterproof phone case or pouch Pesos for tipping at the resort and in-town purchases Hiking and/or water shoes (if you plan on doing an excursion)

Is this an all-inclusive resort?

Answer

Yes, this is an all-inclusive resort. Explore eight dining options, including four à la carte restaurants, one buffet, one international food court, one snack à la carte and one gourmet coffee & ice cream parlor. Additionally, six bars and lounges serving unlimited international and domestic top-shelf spirits. Booking through our group rate will cover airport transportation to and from the resort.

Is there anything not included?

Answer

Your flights are not included in the group rate. If you choose to participate in any guided tours or activities, you will have to book those separately. Tips to the resort staff are also not included, but highly recommended.

When should I book by?

Answer

By now, everyone's resort deposits have been submitted. 50% of your balance is due by 3/1/2023. The full balance is due by 4/26/2023. We recommend flights be booked by May to avoid price increases.

How do I schedule my shuttle?

Answer

Once you book your flights, please email your itineraries to Padmani King (pking@destinationweddings.com) by June 30th to schedule your shuttle. She will arrange a shuttle to pick you up from the airport when you land, and another one to pick you up from the resort after check-out for a ride to the airport. Guests will receive transfer vouchers with shuttle information included.

Where do I go once I land?

Answer

First, you will follow the signs to baggage claim and proceed through customs. Once you have gotten through, you may look for a currency exchange ATM (if you need one), then start walking out of the terminal. You may have salespeople approach you as you walk out - please ignore them and just keep on walking until you’re outside. You can be assured our shuttles will be waiting for you outside the terminal. Guests will receive transfer vouchers with shuttle details included.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Cancun this time of year is hot (average highs of 80s and 90s). Thankfully, our resort is located on the beach and has two beautiful pools to cool off! Make sure to pack plenty of bathing suits, sunhats, and light/breathable clothing to beat the heat.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both events will be outdoors with overhead shade.

What if I can't make it anymore?

We completely understand that not everyone will be able to make this trip. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make it anymore.
