This is a museum of Battleship NC and it is really cool. There is some climbing of steep stairs to beware of, but otherwise a great activity to check out.
This place has a plethora of food and drink options. It's similar to a "food mall" but they are in cargo containers. We love it here as it has a little bit of options for everyone.
Wrightsville beach is going to be the closest beach to wilmington. There is a place to walk called the loop that is a little over 2 miles that walks around the main street of the beach all the way around the park. We loved taking Bailey here and the sunsets are beautiful.
Carolina Beach is another nearby beach that is way less crowded. We sometimes take bailey here to avoid other dogs. There's a small pier with a ferris wheel and other games, but I am unsure if they run year round.
This restaurant is on a pier that is in Wrightsville beach. They have some seafood but their menu is somewhat small. The ambiance is what really is nice here, moderately priced.
This place is very good in Wrightsville beach. They are near the marina so you get to see a lot of boats coming in and out of the port. The views are immaculate and the food has never disappointed.
This place has peruvian delicacies and many tapas. They are very delicious and in wrightsville beach.
Best seafood restaurant in town. Reservations are highly recommended as it is not always easy to find open tables.
This is our favorite "in a rush" food. I hate to call it fast food, but this is a mediterranean chipotle. Yes they are a chain, but so many people never heard of it and we always recommend it when we can.
Fat Tony's is an Italian eatery that has options for everyone. It sits in the heart of downtown and there's many restaurants in this area to choose from.
This is our favorite brewery in Wilmington. We spent many evenings here with Bailey and always enjoyed the variety of food trucks that they have there.
The cotton exchange is similar to the cargo district in the sense there's food, drinks & shopping here. I will say, there's more shopping here but the food at Paddy's Hallow is very good. This is downtown Wilmington and they tend to have weird hours, they are more available midday.
The copper penny is downtown Wilmington and it is a sandwich/sub spot. They are pretty busy on the weekends but sometimes there is seating at the bar. We've sat at the bar every time we've been here.
This is a casual pub spot right around the corner from the wedding venue. During the day, enjoy the outdoor patio and some drinks. After hours they turn into a night life spot with live music at the main bar, karaoke on the second floor, and a DJ on the roof.
This restaurant is on the riverwalk in downtown Wilmington. They have a beautiful view of the Battleship NC. The food is mostly fried so if eating healthy is your vibe I would not recommend here. However, if you're looking for a nice vibe on the water, I would highly recommend.
Airlie Gardens is a botanical garden that is beautiful. It's primarily flat and has different assortment of flowers and greenery. There is a water view here and many photo opportunities.
