For almost two years, my (Vic's) main interaction with Frank was in passing outside of our apartment building on Keystone. One day I was coming home from a date with someone else and as I tried to enter the building, the door knob fell off in my hand. I was dumbfounded and trying to come up with a solution when the door opens to a smiling Frank. He said, "You look nice. Where'd you come from?" I started to tell him about the date and fast forward three hours later, I knew I'd met the man I wanted to be with. I made myself single shortly thereafter ;)
In true Frank fashion, I was completely surprised. It was a regular Friday in November that he asked me on a date. He always plans great dates for us, so I wasn't suspicious in the least. He said, "let's dress up and take some photos." Him being a photographer, it was super normal. We got dressed up and he picked me up after school (I'm a teacher) before ordering us a Lyft to the Adler Planetarium. He set up the tripod and a mic (which he said he needed for his Instagram promo) and somehow, without me realizing it, moved the mic from my jacket to his. He had me stand in front of the tripod and turn around so he could fit my mic. I turned away and waited for him until he said, "turn around." There he was, on one knee, saying the most beautiful things. I don't know what he said (thank God he recorded it all!) but it was all I could do to let him finish talking before I could say yes <3
