What should I wear?

Answer

DRESS CODE: Cocktail casual Think polished but relaxed (spring colors, lightweight dresses, comfortable shoes, slacks, light-colored blazers, even a hawaiin shirt would do...anything but jeans, really). Our reception will be taking place on the lawn RAIN OR SHINE, so ladies, please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear! Our wedding will be held outdoors with semi-coverage.

Question

Are there any other wedding events I can attend over the weekend?

Answer

FRIDAY: The bride and groom will be hosting an intimate welcome party on Friday night with their immediate family and wedding party. SUNDAY: Brunch will be available for all guests at Shangri-La on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. Stop by for some breakfast food, a bloody Mary, a dip in the pool, or a kayak ride down the river! An open-door policy is in affect all day Sunday, come by the house whenever and stay as long as you'd like :)

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Shangri-La is a private home nestled down a quiet road on the Manatee River. If you plug in 1030 Mill Creek Road Bradenton, FL 34212, the GPS should take you to the destination. Welcome signs will be posted off of the main road (Upper Manatee River Rd) for assistance. A shuttle bus will be available to guests staying at the Hampton Inn/Ellenton.

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! There is enough parking for all! Note #1: If you plan to drink, you are welcome to leave your car overnight and take an uber back to your destination. Note #2: If you are staying at the Hampton Inn Ellenton and plan to drink, please take advantage of our shuttle service.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle bus will be available that can take you to and from the venue. The bus will depart from the Ellenton Hampton Inn at 3:45pm on March 9th and will return to the hotel at 10:30pm.
