Navigating in Costa Rica: Download WAZE! You will likely benefit from purchasing a one-time chip for your phone to use data while in Costa Rica when you do not have access to wifi. You can find these easily at the airport when you arrive, or at supermarkets. We recommend that you download app "Waze" prior to your arrival in Costa Rica. This is the best way to navigate roads and towns in Costa Rica, as it will provide you with the most updated traffic conditions and locations of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. PRO TIP: Turn your phone on AIRPLANE MODE after searching directions, and your phone will plug along giving your directions while you don't drain your limited data. --> https://www.waze.com/download

We have reserved spaces for guests at Villas Estival Friday night through Monday morning January 3-6. There is wifi at Villas Estival, but there is not a restaurant on site, so please be sure to stop and buy food for the weekend at a grocery store prior to your arrival. Closest airport is Liberia International Airport in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, which is about 1 hour from Villas Estival. Alternatively, flying into SJO (San Jose International Airport) would require a 4-6 hour drive. Please note that there are 13 villas each with its own shared full kitchen and rooms. Each villa has space for 6-10 guests, so plan on sharing space with our most cherished friends and family! Once you have confirmed your attendance, we will share more information about booking your reservations.
