We're Getting Married!

It depends which one of us you ask. Sammie says we met on a dating app and Cody says we met through Miami of Ohio. The real story: we matched on the dating app Hinge. Cody made the first move, disputing Sammie's prompt that "Cheezitz are better than Goldfish". Our first date was Sammie's 26th birthday. It was an all girls house party, in the middle of covid lockdown, Chicago riots and a city-wide curfew. Despite all those odds, Cody said he just had a feeling we needed to meet and showed up. We quickly realized that we should have met many times prior. 1. We trained at the same gym in high school - even had the same trainer 2. We both went to Miami of Ohio AND had the same major 3. Sammie started at Miami as an athletic training major and worked in the hockey locker room for over a month 4. We had so many mutual friends at Miami and figured out we had been to many of the same parties/events We were pretty much inseparable after that! Safe to say, the first date was a success :)
