Yupp! You guessed it! 5 years ago, Samir and I met on a dating app and I was struck by his personality and charming looks. I came over on the first night to meet most of his friends and then we headed to sushi. We met some of my friends down town and the rest is history. He quickly became my best friend and still is to this day!

On a trip to San Diego for my sister Marissa's birthday, 17 of our closest friends got together to celebrate her birthday. Before going to dinner, Samir gathered everyone around for what I thought was going to be an announcement that we'd be leaving soon. Everyone had their phones out, some already starting to cry, when he grabbed my hand and told me that I'm the best thing that's ever happened to him- followed closely by our pooch, Apollo. He went down on one knee and asked me to marry him. BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
