When you least expect it... you fall in love with your coworker... You get assigned to a random team, and a couple cubicles away is a loud, obnoxious, Baylor football player that still somehow tickles your fancy. He sends you random "The Office" trivia questions, tries to impress you with his food knowledge and talks your ear off about how much he wants to travel (check, check and check). He asks you out on a date and the rest is history. You talk about music, travel, family... eat cheese, pizza and gelato. It's the best first date that either of you have had. And turns out to be the best second, third and fourth date you have ever had! Our journey consisted of discovery, exploration, respect and appreciation of cultural differences, communication and food... I mean a lot of food. Through it all we have conquered a saucy work romance, a couple new jobs, my Dad, political chaos, the crippling environment, getting stuck with Joe Biden as our only option, Murder Hornets and a measly, tiny, little Pandemic, and we have come out stronger than ever. I know marriage is hard, but I feel like you know you have met the right person when you can get through all of that and still worry that forever might not be long enough... Moral of the story? Date your coworker, eat pizza, survive a pandemic and fall in love.
