Welcome to our love story! It all began during our final year of Middle School, in Eighth Grade. Back then, our paths crossed countless times around school, yet we had not officially met. Little did we know, our journey was about to take a heartwarming turn. Corbyn was a familiar face in the school corridors. Meanwhile, Sami found herself sharing classes with Corbyn, which would prove to be the unexpected link that would bring us together. After time Sami was officially introduced to Corbyn and his close-knit group. lunchtimes became the canvas upon which our friendship blossomed. We shared laughter, and stories, as we gathered together with Corbyn's closest friends, Hayden and Barney now fondly known as his best men. Among the threads of fate, a new strand was woven into our story as Sami's future maid of honor, Aimee, entered our lives. Our friendship flourished, and as days turned into years, the bond between us deepened. A symphony of shared experiences and joyful moments filled our lives as our group spent more time together. It was no surprise that amidst these beautiful chapters, Sami and Corbyn found themselves nurturing feelings that would eventually evolve into something more. Fast forward three years later to the day we made things official on October 28, 2020, the day when our love story took a romantic turn. From that moment on, our journey together has been marked by countless cherished memories, unwavering support, and a love that has grown stronger with each passing day. As fate would have it, exactly three years from the day we started dating, our love story is set to take a momentous turn once again. On October 28, 2023, we will stand before our loved ones, united in the promise of forever. Our hearts, intertwined by destiny and fueled by love, will celebrate the next chapter of our lives as we exchange vows and embark on this incredible journey of marriage. After a visit to Walla Walla, where we were visiting Corbyn's sister and her family, we started on the journey back home. Fate had a playful twist on Corbyn's planned out proposal. Picture this: our car cruising along the road, laughter and love filling the air. But then, a moment that now brings laughter to our lips – the flashing lights of a police car signaling us to pull over. Yes, right before the meticulously planned proposal! The friendship piece of our relationship always blossoms in these moments. In the midst of what could have been a frustrating situation, we found that together, even the hiccups in life became part of our story. Inconveniences turned into shared punchlines, challenges into new inside jokes. Our journey continued, winding through scenic landscapes. Sami, who was asleep in the passenger seat (as usual) was awoken by an unexpected stop. Here, we stood at Snoqualmie Pass, nature's breathtaking canvas, blanketed in a pristine carpet of snow. We cozied up into our car blankets, hand in hand, we ventured into the snow-draped woods. Time seemed to stand still as we wandered through the woods, It was then that a tender moment unfolded. There, amidst the snow-kissed pines, Corbyn knelt on one knee. As the sun cast its golden glow on the horizon, and the snow sparkled like diamonds, he spoke the words that would change our lives forever. In that frozen, magical moment, as the sun dipped below the horizon, we said "yes" to a lifetime of shared laughter, inside jokes, and a love that makes every bump in the road an integral part of our extraordinary journey.
