Due to Covid the wedding of Sam’s best friend Chelsey was moved to Sam’s parents house in August 2020. Luke was the best man and Sam was the maid of honor. Even though both had been friends with the bride and groom for over 11 plus years they had never met ( even with them being on a fantasy football league for 9 years together). After talking for a bit at the rehearsal dinner they spent all night talking and hanging out together during the wedding. Apparently they weren’t the only ones to notice the sparks, Sam’s sister Jes and Chelsey made sure to mention it at the end of the night and Jake ( the groom) even gave Luke Sam’s number. A few weeks pass with no word or anything from Luke before Sam decided she wasn’t gonna wait anymore and sent him a message on Facebook using their upcoming fantasy football draft as an excuse. Turns out Luke had lost her number and was too embarrassed to ask Jake for it again. Good thing Sam’s a little impatient as they have been together ever since!
