Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception at the Botanic Garden is an adults-only event. Children are welcome to attend the Block Party on Thursday and Welcome Party on Friday.

Please add any dietary restrictions/allergies to your Wedding Day RSVP. There will be a questionnaire below the RSVP where you can type your dietary restrictions/allergies.

What is the dress code for the weekend?

Answer

Block Party: Casual attire Welcome Party: Dressy Casual Wedding Day (Ceremony & Reception): Garden Party Cocktail Attire. Longer dresses for women and suits for men (ties optional).

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the San Diego Botanic Garden for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be transportation to and from the San Diego Botanic Garden, departing from the Marriott Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station Lobby at 3:00 pm sharp on Saturday. The Marriott Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station Hotel is the only location where buses will be available to board. Shuttles will leave the Marriott Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station Hotel at 3:00 pm so please plan to board by 2:45 pm. They will not wait for stragglers. You do not need to be a guest of the Marriott Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station Hotel or from out of town to board the buses - all guests are welcome to board. If you are local or staying at a different hotel/renting a house and would still like to take the bus, we recommend you uber/lyft to the hotel. Parking is not free at the hotel. It's about a 30 minute drive from the hotel to/from the San Diego Botanic Garden. The shuttles will also pick up guests from the San Diego Botanic Garden at 10:00 pm and drop them off at the Catalina Lounge for the After Party (first stop) and at the Marriott Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station Hotel (second stop). There is no earlier departure than 10:00 pm with the shuttle option.

Can I drive or Uber to the San Diego Botanic Garden? Is parking available?

Yes! Note there are multiple entrances to the San Diego Botanic Garden. Please type in this address to your GPS or rideshare service: 230 Quail Gardens Drive, Encinitas, CA 92024 ATTENTION: Several map applications have been directed to the staff back gate off Saxony Rd. This is NOT an access point, and entry through this gate is strictly prohibited. ONLY ENTRY THROUGH 230 QUAIL GARDENS DRIVE Located off QUAIL GARDENS DRIVE. If driving, there is a large parking lot located close to where our ceremony and reception is located.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be outdoors.
