Our love story...hmm let’s see .Well I’ve known Kenny for long time now. Our moms were actually good friends. Kenny & I hung out when we were probably ten years old or so. We didn’t really see each other often but I know we definitely hung out. Ummm years past I would say like 13 years to be exact & I decided to message Kenny on Facebook. I was looking for a friend to talk to and something drew me to him. He says his good looks haha and I am not denying that! But anyway, we finally decided to meet up! From that day, I knew he was going to be the one. Sounds crazy but it was the feeling he gave me and the way he looked into my eyes that made it all real. Months later of boyfriend and girlfriend I lost half my heart when my mother passed away suddenly. At that moment, I didn’t know how my life was going to be but what I did know for a fact was that I had a strong person, my person that was there by my side. Through the good days and bad he was there. He always tried his hardest to make me smile & still does. He always makes sure I will never need a thing in life & more importantly he taught me how to be the woman my mother raised. Now let’s fast forward a bit... we are having a baby girl; Savannah Catherine Gilyard! Our creation!! A couple months of parenting & New Year’s Eve arrives. I had just got done getting ready & went to the party. We were all having a good time & Kenny pulls me to dance. I was looking around and saw everyone staring at me! I asked him,”why is everyone staring at us?” He responded, “because of this...” He gets on one knee and said “Will you marry me?” Without a thought in my mind the answer was YES!!! And that’s when we started our journey of husband and wife ❤️❤️
