We’re getting married!

As many of you know, I (Samantha) do not do well with surprises. The day prior to the proposal, I managed to get the truth out of Hunter of his plan for 08/25. However, that did not make it any less special. We began our day driving into Townsend, TN. We stopped at the Apple Valley Cafe, it was a wonderful little restaurant with a general store connected. After our meal and some shopping, we continued our journey. We drove up to Cades Cove. It was a beautiful, sunny day. I could sense that Hunter was nervous, which I did my best to calm his mind. He pulled into a side road and convinced me to get out and walk with him. We were stopped by a gate, but of course Hunter decided to jump over it (I just walked around it). After walking a tad bit further, seeing nothing but the beautiful mountains and trees that surrounded us, he got down on his knee. His hands and voice shaking, he asked me to marry him. Without a second thought, I accepted. In a warm embrace, we exchanged words of endearment. As soon as we made it back to the car, I (Samantha), FaceTimed my mom to tell her the fantastic news.
