Wedding Party

Emily Evans

Maid of Honor

Emily and Sam have been best friends since 7th grade. Through all-nighters, a few fights, and countless adventures, they have been by each other’s side through the best and worst times. Sam couldn’t picture anyone else being her Maid of Honor on one of the most important days of her life!

Veronica Hancock

Bridesmaid

Veronica and Sam met while going through nursing school. They spent many nights studying in the library, occasionally crying, and praying they would be able to pass. After nursing school they grew slightly apart. When Sam moved back to KC, they worked at the same hospital and were able to become close once again! Getting engaged just a few months apart, Sam and Veronica are getting to experience wedding planning together!

Mariah Gibson

Bridesmaid

Sam and Mariah met playing softball. Since they were 8 or 9, they have been great friends. Between countless tournaments, many sleepovers, and memories that could bring tears of laughter, they have stayed great friends. Sam is so excited to have one of her earliest friends standing by her side on such an important day.

Jenna Lowry

Bridesmaid

Jenna is Dexters older sister who he has always looked up (figuratively of course) to! Sam is so excited to also call Jenna her “sister”! Jenna, Dexter and Sam have spent many days talking, laughing, watching Jeopardy, and exploring a brewery or two! Sam is so excited to have her new sister stand by her side as she promises to spend forever with Dex!

Gracie Mahalovich

Bridesmaid

Gracie is not only one of Sam’s cousins, but is also one of her best friends. Growing up, Sam and Gracie were practically inseparable at family gatherings, always playing together and sharing whatever gossip they had at the time. Sam has always been so thankful to call Gracie not only her cousin, but her friend. She is so excited to have Gracie stand next to her on her wedding day.

Tony Cornell

Best Man

Tony is Dexter’s older brother who he has always followed in the footsteps of. From playing high school baseball & basketball, to graduating from MU with an electrical engineering degree, to moving to Olathe... They now live within a half a mile of each other, are both working at the same company, and golf together as often as possible.

Zach Qualls

Groomsman

Zachary is Samantha’s big brother who has become like a second brother for Dexter. They’ve been playing slow pitch together every Tuesday for the past year or two, share a passion for sarcasm, and enjoy competing at pretty much everything… Especially Mario. When together, if they aren’t talking trash over cards, bags, darts, or some obscure board game; they are probably poking fun and laughing at someone within a 20 foot radius (all in good fun of course!!).

JP Reynolds

Groomsman

Like any good best friendship that started in 2007; JP and Dexter met in their college dorm freshman year bonding over ping pong and guitar hero. They lived together for 3 years in Columbia, MO during college and grew in to young men together while working towards the same college degree. Neither thinks they would have made it through the program as successfully as they did without the other being there to support and keep both in check. JP now lives in the DC area, yet they still try to regularly catch up and when they do see each other, they spend their time watching Jeopardy and playing video games.

Michael Rogers

Groomsman

Dexter actually interviewed Michael for his job at Black & Veatch. It was a lunch time interview and they spent pretty much the entire time talking about Mizzou and motorcycles. Similar to Steven we all spend time riding, shooting, and hanging out together. Michael has been there for Dexter through some tough times, and helped bring back some fond memories with his late grandpa by getting him out to go deer hunting for the first time since going with his grandpa over 20 years prior.

Steven Stewart

Groomsman

Dexter and Steven met through work, and quickly became great friends. Eventually spending regular time together riding dirt (or street) bikes, golfing, shooting skeet, doing escape rooms, bowling, playing darts, or simply hanging out on a couch/bar having some drinks. It should also be noted that Steven’s lab, Jake, could be considered Harold’s best friend. Jury is still out on that one.
