Sam and Cory started dating during college at Central Michigan University on November 1, 2018. 
 Once Sam graduated in 2019, they moved to Lansing to start their careers. On January 4, 2020, they expanded their family by welcoming their first dog together, Emerson (aka Emmy, Nibbler) Cory proposed to Sam on May 6th, 2023 at the Windmill Island Gardens in Holland, Michigan. In 2023, they bought their first home together. 5 years together building a life and ready to tie the knot!
