What is the guest charter bus transportation?

Answer

It is a large luxury passenger bus that will transport guests from Brandenton to Venice (50 min.) for the ceremony, cocktails, and dinner events. The bus will then return guests to Xanadu House for the reception celebration. It is equipped with leather coach style seating, stereo, and flat screen monitors. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If utilizing the complimentary guest charter bus, please arrive to Xanadu House by 1:15pm as the bus will leave promptly at 1:30pm. Please carpool or Uber if possible as parking is very limited. If you are not utilizing the guest charter bus, please plan to arrive at the ceremony location in Venice at 2:30pm.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is very limited at the Xanadu house please try to carpool or Uber. Upon arrival you will be directed to park in a designated area.

Question

If I carpool with a friend, how do I get back to my hotel?

Answer

We will be providing guests transportation back to TownPlace Suites Brandenton hotel via Uber if needed. The Uber voucher code will be provided to all guests at time of event.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual: Women wear sundresses, dressy jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, etc. Men wear trousers, button-down shirts, suits, etc.

Will it be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be held indoors. Later in the evening, the reception will have a mixture of indoor and outdoor spaces (e.g. games and bar will be outdoors).

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have booked a block of rooms at a hotel nearby the reception location. Click on the 'Hotel' tab to see more information.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Answer

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Food will be served buffet style. Please let the buffet servers know of your allergy at that time.
