Clay and I met during our sophomore year of college at Franciscan University. We both worked at Franciscan's call center fundraising money for the university. When we met, Clay was the shift supervisor and I was a caller. By the spring of our senior year, we were both supervisors at the call center. We had already independently interviewed and accepted jobs at Dynamic Catholic. We were so excited and scared about post-grad life away from home! We slowly got to know one another better as we made plans to move to Cincinnati. On a Saturday shift (where Clay was the caller and I was the shift supervisor, might I add), another caller was about to call someone with a Vietnamese name. Clay, remembering that I am Vietnamese from a conversation I can't recall, called me over to ask if I could speak Vietnamese. Smiling, I said no, but thanked him for remembering. And that's when Clay winked at me from across the room for only me to see. Several months later, we grew closer to each other and began dating after the first few weeks of working together in Cincinnati.
