Sam and Lauren met the "old fashioned way" through a fated hang out at their mutual friends' Lindsey & Bock's apartment. Sam lived downstairs and Lauren knew Lindsey through her college internship. When Lindsey invited her over one random weeknight to meet her "super cute and funny" neighbor Sam, she couldn't pass up the chance. After a first date at home making handmade pasta and a few trips to The Ranch, the rest was history.

The day started with what Lauren *thought* was a tour of the Austin FC stadium. Sam told her they were trying to upsell them on season tickets, but little did she know he had a photographer waiting in the stands to capture their proposal. After a few awkward moments and a corny soccer joke, Sam popped the question. Lauren happily accepted, of course! As if the day couldn't get any better, Sam had arranged for their family and friends to surprise them at Lazarus Brewing to celebrate. Later that evening - after a nap to recover from all of the excitement - he hosted their families at The Apartment at Jeffrey's followed by drinks, dancing and shuffleboard at The Golden Goose. This special day was truly was the most thoughtful and loving surprise. Thank you to everyone who traveled from near and far to be with Lauren and Sam on our special day! We're all so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Cabo!
