If I had to think back to who I thought was my 'first friend', it would probably be you. Yes we were family and didn't see each other that often because we lived in different cities, but especially as we got older, it was more than just about being cousins. All the sleepovers at Mimi and Paps', playing 'bar', you teaching me all your cheer dances, walking about your neighborhood talking about boys and having photoshoots, people watching at Harry's, eating Chuy's jalapeño no dip for dinner lol! There's not a lot in life that's more special than watching the person you've literally grown up with accomplish so much in life. You found your true love and introduced me to mine. We have beautiful families. It's truly so special to think about sharing all of these moments with you. My lobster forever🦀

Since I met you in 2011 we've consumed so much pizza and watched an endless amount of New Girl and How I Met Your Mother and I wouldn't trade any of those moments for anything. I don't think I would have made it through HBU years without you. You kept me sane, you were there when I cried, and you supplied so many laughs. And the best part is...you continue to do so. I think a lot of people have a 'I was scared of her the first time I met her' best friend and Jordan is that friend to me. And I mean that as the best possible compliment because Jordan is a FORCE! Headstrong, cares so deeply for her friends and family, loves animals more than anyone I've ever met, ain't afraid to speak her mind, and her energy is so contagious that you learn to be a little headstrong yourself. I needed Jordan to teach me to take no shit. I needed our endless vent sessions while cleaning stalls. I needed our dinner dates at Olive Garden. Growing up I always wanted to be a vet. I fell out of that world at a young age, but my life took a 360 and brought me back into it. And with it, brought me a lifelong best friend.

We went from nights on Northgate to nights binging Grey's Anatomy. We've gone through the trials of our 20's together and now we get to spend our 30's married with beautiful babies and a friendship that will continue to get better.
