We decided on forever!

We met at a Bills game. We were introduced by a family member (Chas) and a friend. Neither one of us wanted any part in being set up. Sam had been tailgating all morning-ready to get his swagger on. Heather was just coming to enjoy a day away from work… Needless to say, the Bills failed to win that day, losing 17-9 to the Chiefs (something we hope doesn’t continue)! However, Sam wasn’t feeling that defeated as he had begun to win over Heathers heart, all while feeding her tater tots.

It was a long over due date night and Sam made reservations for us to go out to dinner. Sis and Matt came over to watch Hudson. We had a great dinner then afterwards I said I wasn’t ready to go home. I wanted to go to Home Depot. Sam, of course, was annoyed as I dragged him up and down all of the aisles. Little did I know what was taking place at home. After picking out paint colors and such we arrived home and all the lights were off. I noticed that one of the blinds to the door out back was twisted ever so slightly and through it I saw lights…and Hudson. When we opened up the door there she stood with the ring in the center of rose petals. The music playing, the candles were lit and there were lights everywhere. With the help of Sis, Matt and our neighbor friends-Sam managed to pull off quite the memorable proposal. I of course said YES! Please join us in celebrating this next chapter of our lives!
