I Think I Like You...

Sam and Alex first met playing pickup soccer at Liberty University. They didn't take much notice of each other, except for Sam giving Alex a perfect cross for a stunning goal! A while later, Alex and Sam were both hired as Summer RAs in May 2021 and were reintroduced by a very excited Annabelle Fisher (sister of the bride) in a line for orange chicken, but once again, Alex and Sam were pretty uninterested in each other. I guess it wasn't love at first sight! Alex and Sam enjoyed a summer filled with friends, sand volleyball, and pickup soccer. Over time, coworker turned to friend, friend turned to close friend, and close friend turned to a crush. Alex finally admitted to herself (and close friends) that she had feelings for Sam in November 2021, and Sam closely followed in January 2022 when he made a playlist with Alex in mind, titled 'ITILY'... 'I Think I Like You'. Alex and Sam continued as friends, not knowing each other's feelings and really trying hard to get rid of their own feelings - after all, everyone hates the couple that ruins a perfectly good friend group... until Alex finally confessed her feelings to a very shocked Sam in April 2022. After a few dates, they began officially dating at the end of April 2022. Both Sam and Alex knew they were dating 'The One' a few dates (or one date) in and have loved every minute of dating since then! Even amidst challenges, Sam and Alex have stuck it through, and are so excited to officially (and finally) join their lives together forever!
