They were lab partners in Oceans and Man at USCB. Sally was the first student to class and Matt was the last student to class. The only seat left in the room was at the back left table and one person down from Sally. They started carpooling to off site labs, and those turned into lunches and beach days. After the semester ended, Sally decided to stay in Bluffton and the rest is history. The kayak dates, pool days, beach days, and many more adventures led to being engaged 6 years later!

They were on a getaway in Charleston, SC for a Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real concert on April 25th. They had the cutest tiny house airbnb right outside of Charleston, they were preparing to leave for the concert when Matt asked for a pre-concert picture to remember the day. Sally could tell something was up, and sure enough Matt was on one knee asking the question she had anticipated for many years! We are beyond excited to celebrate this next journey with you!
