Almost 5 years ago, they met. Josh and Ruby had known of each other long before they started dating and have come to believe that since then, the Lord has been orchestrating their love story. Back in 2019, they had both attended a worship night created by a dear friend, and all Ruby knew at the time was Josh didn’t seem like her type. Time went on and nothing came from meeting other than distant friendship, but Josh had a feeling it wasn’t the last they would see of each other. Fast forward 4 years later, they were able to reconnect through a trusty dating app and some gentle nudging from friends. They met at a Texas Roadhouse, walked through the park, and talked like old friends. It was simple. It wasn’t love at first sight. It was consistent- just like it should be. It brought peace. It was gentle. So many things that came from the Lord and covered in prayer from the both of them. It was imperfect, but faithful nonetheless. They're both so thankful for one another and how they bring out each other’s inner child. They challenge each other and truly bring out each other’s best. Sometimes what the Lord has in store doesn’t always look like what we thought, but it’s always better.
