Andy and I met in high school in the suburbs of Chicago and became best friends our junior year. We attended separate colleges, Andy went to University of Iowa and I went to Oregon State. We share the same very close group of friends and we would see each other all the time from visiting each other's states, colleges, and going to music festivals. A few years after college, Andy had moved out to California while I had still been in Oregon and now that we were on the same coast we started visiting each other more frequently. We became a lot closer and started officially dating in November 2017. We dated long distance for 2 years and then I made the decision to move down to San Francisco and find a place together. We have been living together in the Bay Area for 4 years now with our cat Gypsy. We both currently work from home and spend our free time going to concerts and festivals, trying new recipes at home, going to the beach, wine tasting in Napa, walking to our neighborhood movie theater, rewatching game of thrones, and strolling Golden Gate Park during our lunch breaks. We also share a passion for traveling and have been to 13 countries together so far and share the dream of wanting to visit all 7 continents one day. It might be a cliché, but it is true what people say; you should marry your best friend.
