Things To Do

Pegasus Coffee House

Pegasus Coffee House

131 Parfitt Way Southwest, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

While a visit to Starbucks helps ensure job security for Emily, if you're looking for a caffeine fix with more of a local flare we recommend Pegasus Coffee. It's an iconic piece of Bainbridge Island's rich tradition and a local landmark, operating since 1980. This ivy-covered coffee haven was the first coffee roaster to serve espresso over the counter in the Seattle area and the lattes served today still use the original espresso developed more than 40 years ago.

Hitchcock

Hitchcock

129 Winslow Way East, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

We love the cocktails and the atmosphere at Hitchcock; we stopped here together when we were first touring the wedding venue. The bar also has an adjoining café that can be a good stop for coffee and sweet treats in the morning.

Seabird

Seabird

133 Winslow Way East, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

Seabird is another great cocktail spot, with a very Pacific Northwest-y vibe. It's nearly impossible for us to visit a place like this without ordering the fresh oysters to share.

Via Rosa 11

Via Rosa 11

10320 Northeast Valley Road, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

If you're making a weekend of it and have time for a meal a bit off the beaten path (will be a drive away from the ferry terminal and downtown area), we highly recommend Via Rosa 11. You'll experience some authentic Italian cuisine and a charming ambience. (Get the lasagna!)

Fay Bainbridge Park

Fay Bainbridge Park

15446 Sunrise Drive Northeast, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

Fay Bainbridge Park is a beautiful beachfront park with panoramic views of Puget Sound. (This one is also a bit of a drive from downtown Bainbridge).
