We met through a mutual friend in Memphis, TN at a sorority formal. We both had other dates, yet somehow managed to gravitate towards each other. We danced, talked, and laughed together all night, until we both went our separate ways. I didn't think anything more of that night until the next day when he managed to find one of my social media accounts and reached out to me. We haven't gone a day without talking since.

We planned a trip to Nashville to visit my parents. Ryker told me we were going to Arrington Vineyards to meet a couple we are friends with. As we were walking around looking for our friends, Ryker suddenly stopped and got down on one knee. I of course said, "YES!" Suddenly, I heard a roar of cheers coming from up the hill. He surprised me (again) by inviting some of our best friends who had come from all over to be there. My family was there as well. We all celebrated one of the happiest moments of our lives.
