We met in the most unconventional way. We both told ourselves we would never use a dating app...but "Hinge" happened and the swiping started. We talked for a couple months and finally worked up the courage to meet each other. I was painting as he pulled up in the driveway for the first time. He smiled and in that moment we knew it was the beginning to an amazing adventure. We ended up going out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and spent the rest of the night talking about everything and anything. From the beginning the conversations felt like we knew each other for 10+ years. We thank our friends for pushing us to try something we'd never do and download that app.
The proposal was such a dream. Chris was super nervous but planned the most amazing day. We went out to Rainey Street Historic District where we went to a cantina that looked like flowers took over the entire building. It was beautiful. After we took a walk to the lake near by where family "surprised" (they weren't good at hiding lol) us for the proposal. Chris had asked me to marry him by the lake and of course my answer was YES! It was an amazing night and will forever be thankful for that memory. We are excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with you. To love, laughter, and a happily ever after! See you in Austin!
