What is cocktail attire?

We would like everyone to get dressed up! We are aiming to strike a balance between formal and casual, as well as elegant and comfortable. When attending a wedding with a cocktail dress code, your goal is to look polished and put together without being overly elaborate. For an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress. It is not black tie, and men are not required to wear a suit. However, we ask that the men wear slacks & long sleeve button down shirts with a tie. The ladies should be in a semi-formal dress. Please feel free to reach out if you have clothing questions or concerns.
