We're gettin' hitched!

Ryan and Matti have been a long time coming. Ryan's mom taught Matti in grade school, so they've always known each other. After years of just knowing each other evolved into several years of friendship, Matti finally gave Ryan a chance at something more. It took one date and Matti knew Ryan was the one.

Ryan and Matti's "thing" has always been checking cows. This was what they did on their first date and now every evening after busy, chaotic work days, the two of them hop on the Mule to go feed and water the cows. They talk about their days, listen to music, and on a rare occasion, may even have a cold one, or two. It's always a time for them to disconnect from the rest of the world and focus on what really matters. On one what Matti thought would be "normal" evening, she was feeding the cows treats and Ryan was behind her talking about the future. He asked, "Will you love me forever?" Matti said, "Duh, Ryan." He said, "Are you sure?" Matti turned around to find him on one knee and he popped the question. She said yes, of course! Ryan then let her know he'd planned a surprise ski trip to Colorado to celebrate their engagement that weekend, pulled out the champagne, and they toasted to a lifetime of checking cows and loving each other!
