What is the attire at this wedding?

Answer

Black tie is HIGHLY encouraged (most guests will be in black tie). It's New Years Eve, let's party.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both will take place at the Energy Innovation Center (1435 Bedford Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219).

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, ample parking for all, adjacent to the building (and the parking lot is permeable pavement and surrounded by rain gardens which the bride loves).

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! There are ramps outside at the sidewalk as well as elevators.

Will there be shuttles to and from the downtown hotels and venue?

Answer

Yes, we don't want our guests to have to rely on Uber/Lyft during NYE. We will have a shuttle to bus our guests to and from the venue and downtown hotels.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We’re a rowdy bunch, we’d like to give people the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little ones.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, there are over a dozen hotels within a few miles’ radius of the venue that fit a variety of budgets. Are masks required?

Answer

We want everyone to be safe and comfortable. Masks are required for the unvaccinated and this will be enforced due to the bride being immunocompromised.
