FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not here, please reach out to Ryan, MaKenna, or Bobbi and we will answer as soon as we possibly can!
Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have three registry lists going on: Amazon, Target, and Pampered Chef! It would probably be easier to visit those sites directly searching for our lists there as it may be more updated than what is on this website!

Question

Is there a dress code for guests?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you attend in dressy casual clothing! Nothing too formal but not super casual either! For example, please do not wear jeans and a t shirt, but you can wear a polo and khakis; ladies you are welcome to wear a sundress or a pantsuit, but please do not wear anything overly showy! We also ask that ladies please do not wear white this day!

Question

When should I arrive by?

Answer

It would be best to arrive between 3:15 and 3:30 as the ceremony will begin at 4:00!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! You can park anywhere in front of the River House that is not nearby the Reception Hall, the white building with the outside dining area, as that will be an area where people will be walking, and we don't want to risk any kids or others getting hit! You can park anywhere on the grass or the gravel lot in front of and slightly along the gravel road to the house!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We plan to have a somewhat unplugged ceremony, so in order for our photographer to get the best shots of everyone in the moment, we ask that you refrain from getting in the way of our wonderful photographers and videographer that will be there! If you want to take pictures, please do not get in the aisle, have your flash on, your sound on, etc. as it could cause distractions during the ceremony and for the photographers.

Question

Is there assigned seating?

Answer

To an extent, yes! Immediate family (Parents, grandparents, siblings) will have the first two pews of each side reserved in their honor, but everyone else can sit wherever they would like! The same can be said for the reception as they will have 2-4 front tables reserved in their honor, but everything else is fair game!

Question

What happens if I arrive late?

Answer

Out of respect for the bride and groom, if you arrive late, please do not find a seat until AFTER the bride and the wedding party has walked down the aisle. We will have a live painter on the ceremony site in the middle of the aisle, so after she is set in her place, we ask that you do not seat yourself at the ceremony. The couple and the other guests will happily meet you in the reception area for cocktail hour after the ceremony.

Question

Can I smoke in the venue?

Answer

No, we will not be able to accommodate smoking of any kind at the ceremony! Please do not smoke or vape while you are on the premises! Thank you!
