Disney Springs
If you’re staying in town before or after the event, head on over to one of our favorite hangout and date night spots. Disney Springs offers a taste of Disney outside of just the parks. Enjoy live entertainment, bars and restaurants, shopping, Cirque du Soleil, a hot air balloon attraction, or simply stroll through the magic of Disney. And parking is free! (Pssst…Orange Garage has the most reliable parking)
Universal CityWalk Orlando
Another regular spot for us is Universal’s CityWalk. Visit bars, restaurants, a karaoke club, and stores so close to the parks that you can see rollercoasters as you walk. Parking is free after 6pm!
Downtown Winter Garden
Just near our church is Downtown Winter Garden where we hung out the first couple weeks of knowing each other. Whether you’re interested in coffee, food, or shopping, Downtown Winter Garden is a beautiful place to grab a drink or bite to eat and sit outside European style and watch the world go by. We’d recommend Axum Coffee, Rosallie Le French Cafe, Mangoni Italian Market Pizza, Harrell’s Hot Dogs, and the Writer’s Block Bookstore! The Public Parking Garage on S Boyd St. is free!
Harry P Leu Gardens
About 10 minutes from the hotel is the beautiful 50-acre property of Leu Gardens. A quiet oasis of flowers and trees to explore or find rest by. Hours of operation are from 9am - 5pm and admission is $15.
