Julia & Ryan

Julia and Ryan's love story began in law school, where they first crossed paths in the Law Journal Honor's Program. Ryan always wondered why Julia smiled at him the first day of class. Julia always thought it was funny Ryan owned a backpack on wheels (nerd!). Fast forward one year, Ryan was named Editor-in-Chief and Julia became Senior Editor of the Law Journal (super nerds, lol). One day, Julia invited Ryan for drinks at The Prince, their local law school bar. Plot twist: Ryan never showed up! But hey, destiny's got jokes, and 3 years later, they're sipping drinks and taking engagement photos at the same spot. Isn't life crazy? Realizing he goofed up, Ryan finally asked Julia out. Their first date? Speranza, an Italian joint in Silverlake. Ryan was so nervous and struggled to find words to say, but Julia claims this was the moment she fell in love. Perhaps it was because Ryan knew to take Julia to a restaurant known for pasta and wine (her favorites). Perhaps it was Ryan finally admitting he messed up when he stood her up at The Prince. Whatever it was, it worked, and the feeling was mutual. Love was officially in the air!! A few months later, Covid was also in the air. However, Ryan and Julia made the best of lock down. They spent a lot of nights together baking, sharing wine, talking about life, and hanging out with El, Julia’s Siamese cat. Ryan also serenaded Julia with his guitar. Big Ken Energy. The two became the best of friends and their love blossomed. For Ryan, he felt like he just met the woman of his dreams. Julia, on the other hand, sensed a familiarity that transcended time – as if they were lovers in past lives. The two live each day grateful for one another and the love they share.
