A fun district in Santa Barbara to walk around and explore. It's full of boutique tasting rooms, cafes, galleries, and shops that cater to a more "contemporary" side.
The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation
Have kids with you (or are you just a kid at heart)? The MOXI Museum is in The Funk Zone and a great indoor option for learning and fun!
Santa Barbara Maritime Museum
Located right in the harbor, this museum really focuses on the local history. Up on the fourth floor you get a great view of the harbor.
Loon Point Beach
A great beach right outside of Santa Barbara. It's more of a "locals only" spot so you know it's good.
Water Activities
Santa Barbara Adventure Company offers everything from kayak rentals in the harbor, surf and SUP lessons, to a full day exploration of the coastline or the Channel Islands. Choose your own adventure and become one with the ocean.
Pence Vineyards & Winery
If you're up for a drive, this vineyard is a beautiful place to explore and enjoy. It's about 50 minutes outside of Santa Barbara. Stop in the town of Solvang along the way, a city known for its Danish-style architecture.
