Looking for a bite to eat between the ceremony and reception? Check out North Wells Street in Old Town, a few minutes walk from the Chicago History Museum. Grab a coffee at Philz, tacos at Broken English Taco Pub, or a burger at Small Cheval Wells.
Looking for something to do in between the ceremony and reception? Check out the Lincoln Park Zoo Nature Boardwalk! A mere ten minute walk from our ceremony venue, the Chicago History Museum, the boardwalk offers some of the best views of downtown on the bridge over south pond.
Both Brad and Ryan once called the Lakeview East neighborhood home, and it is still one of their favorite areas in the city. The section of Broadway between Wellington and Roscoe is filled with local shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. You won't find many chain stores here! Check out some of our favorites: Unabridged Bookstore, The Coffee and Tea Exchange, and Roebuck Pizza (the Standard Bearer is heaven). The original Intelligentsia Coffee shop can also be found here!
In town a few days early and looking for a place to eat? Check out the Fulton Market section of the West Loop neighborhood, home to Chicago's restaurant scene! Some of our favorites in the area are Momotaro (a sushi spot that Ryan took Brad to after proposing), Cabra for some Peruvian eats with a rooftop view, and Beatrix for a more laid back American eatery option.
