We met at Redmond Town Center shortly after connecting online through a Santa Clara University student Instagram page. We connected instantly, as we walked and talked in the freezing cold for three hours. Ryan left for Santa Clara, CA shortly after, and I stayed back in Redmond for another couple of months because of Covid-19. Despite the distance, our beautiful relationship blossomed!

After receiving the blessing from my family, Ryan surprised me to a trip to Soap Lake, WA. Growing up, I spent many of my summers here with my family, making it a very special and memorable place for me. On the last night of the trip, Ryan asked me if I wanted to go on the beach to stargaze. The moment we got there, he had a full picnic set up complete with candles, my favorite drinks and snacks, and soft blankets. He then got down on one knee and asked the question. I quickly said, "YES!", and we were officially engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you all soon!
