Ryan and I both grew up in small towns. So of course our schools played each other in sports. We both noticed each other in high school. I noticed him at a basketball game (and yes it was Ryan not Patrick) and he reminded me of this actor, but I was intrigued. Ryan saw me at a volleyball game. He said he never went to any games, except that one game LMA played HHA. He said he asked around about who I was, but I already knew who he was. We never officially met in high school, but of course we followed each other on social media so we knew who the other person was. Finally, Ryan got the nerve to message me on social media. I had posted about being sick and I was watching the Breakfast Club, he responded saying it was a great movie. At that moment I thought to myself "Wow he has great taste. I have to keep this up". After talking for a while we exchanged numbers and the next weekend he came to visit me. Since that weekend we have literally been inseparable. It has been a dream come true ever since then!

Ryan and I both talked about marriage and what we wanted for our future together. Since I first met him, I knew I wanted to marry him. We had looked at rings, tried some on, but he never really hinted at when it was coming. One day we went to Summerville before my birthday dinner to get some shopping done. My mom called me saying we needed to go by a church to pick up a packet for her 5k race. I am gullible, so of course I had no idea that in the next few minutes we would be engaged! We go to the church and started walking around trying to find where to pick the packet up. We walked around the corner and I saw rose petals. From that moment, I knew it was happening! I cried and cried and cried because the man I prayed for to be my husband was asking me to marry him. He had petals everywhere, candles lit, and a sign that said "this is our happily ever after". It was everything I could've imagined and more. He had my parents hiding as well as a photographer to share and capture our special moment! It was everything I ever dreamed about and exceeded all my hopes and dreams.
