We’re getting hitched!

Jenn was in the east coast visiting some friends. She had met a childhood friend (Sara) of Kevin’s back in college and they stayed good friends. While visiting Sara, Jenn posted a picture of herself with Sara’s daughter (one of the flower girls) on her Instagram story and Sara reposted it to her story. When Jenn returned to LA, Sara texted Jenn and told her that a friend of hers was interested in her. We’ll put it the way the groom likes to- Kevin slid into Jenn’s DM’s a day or two later. They clicked almost instantly and when they met in person a couple of weeks later, it was as if they had known each other for years. They did long distance for almost 3 years and are so excited to not just live in the same state but live life together.

It was pouring rain this day and Kevin hates the rain but insisted he wanted steak. Kevin told Jenn to dress up because they were going to a nice Brazilian steakhouse. While there, Kevin REALLY took his time with his food and Jenn had finished a whole 30 minutes or so before him. Meanwhile, Jenn’s best friends were scrambling to put together the proposal in the wet grass and insane wind. Kevin and Jenn finally leave and Kevin starts to do some errands (legitimate but weird timing). After completing one errand, he says he has to do another but proceeds to head to his parents’ house. Jenn didn’t realize what was set up until she got out of the car very confused. They walked over, Kevin put a ring on it, and they’re super excited to celebrate with friends and family!
