Morgan and Evan will be married in a private ceremony at Búðakirkja in Budir, Iceland on August 31st 2023

Evan and Morgan will be having a small reception in San Antonio with immediate family and close friends to celebrate their marriage.

Evan and Morgan’s first date was at a bar in San Antonio in November of 2016. The typical first date anxiety was there to start, but conversation flowed easily. At some point in the night a lady they were talking to on the bar patio asked them “how did y’all meet?” and when they told her “we just met tonight” she said “oh, I figured y’all had been together for a long time”. Morgan and Evan continued going on dates and growing their relationship over several years in San Antonio. They moved in together in early 2020, a year which solidified that they can spend A LOT of time together without driving each other crazy (most of the time). Later that year they moved to Denver and lived in a tiny one-bedroom apartment with their two dogs while both working from home and house hunting. Their dogs, Krampus and Freya, got a yard in October 2020 when Morgan and Evan bought their first home. They have been fixing up their almost 100 year old craftsman home, spending time in the mountains, and buying things from REI regularly since getting settled in Colorado. In September of 2022, Evan asked Morgan to marry him while they were stargazing during a camping trip in Salida, CO. Both Morgan and Evan have a passion for nature and travel, which played a role in their decision to elope in Iceland. They want to start their marriage with an adventure and surrounded by a beautiful landscape.
