It was a Thursday night, I received a phone call from my best friend Randa. She begged me to go out to a local bar called friends-of friends. I was already in my pajamas, eating dinner watching my show… But Randa is someone I can’t say no to, so I decided to throw on a dress and go out to the bar. I don’t usually like to go out on weekdays because I work Monday through Friday. I arrived at the bar not knowing my life would be forever changed that night. It’s always good to see my friends but when I looked around, I didn’t see one cute guy anywhere. I’ve been single for over three years now and the dating field is no Bueno. About an hour past I was still by the bar with my friends standing drinking a margarita. I noticed right next to me is a pool table, dance floor, and some games to play. I was talking to my friends, drinking my drink, and I looked up noticing two men walking in. I noticed one of them very quickly because he was a tall handsome man with pretty brown eyes. When I saw him, we made eye contact right away. I smiled and blushed while turning away. You know I’m playing hard to get. I noticed he walked past me with a smile. I smiled back and turned around to my friends. As the night was going, we kept making eye contact. He had walked over behind me because he was playing pool. He was walking up to the bar and he gently nudged me. You know I’m still playing hard to get, so I smile and keep talking to my friends. After he got his drink he walked over to me and asked me to play pool. I think you know what, I said yes. Alex actually wanted to get to know me apart from the way I dress. I do dress quite sexy. He didn’t comment on my body, he just wanted to get to know me. You know I’m used to men talking about my body, but he didn’t. He was a true gentleman, he bought me a drink while we played pool and then we danced the night away. We laughed together, and I did not want the night to end. I knew he felt the same because since that night we haven’t spent a day apart, he truly is my perfect match. ❤️

It was Thursday night, I recently left the oil field job to begin my schooling to enter the fire academy, and about to begin my schooling for the fire academy. My neighbor Jordan who owed me a song for Karaoke, so we decided to go out to the bar called “Friends-of-Friends.” We prepared ourselves for the night unknowing to myself that I would meet the love of my life. Once we arrived, I did a quick scan of the bar, being tall has some advantages when looking around. Where one of the first things I saw was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen at the end of the bar next to the pool tables. She was wearing a black hat with a black leather jacket and Marilyn Monroe shirt with a gray dress underneath it, and a pair of long black cowboy boots. As I was looking at her, she then turned and made eye contact with me, that’s when I caught a glimpse of her smile, which melted me a bit and for a second I felt short. I became a bit nervous, but her smile calmed me down and I smiled back and gave her a quick nod. Throughout the night, I continued to make glimpses at her, occasionally going to the bar when she went to get a drink. My friend and I finally migrated to the pool tables, where I finally built up the courage to talk to her and asked the most important question of my life. “Do you want to play pool?” she looked at me with a big and contagious smile and said “Yes” I suddenly had the thought that this beautiful woman in front of me might actually be interested in me, and in my thoughts “Why would she be interested in me, she is way out of my league.” but as the night went on we got to talk, like really talk she was interesting and she made me laugh, she told me about how she loves to take care of people and how much love is in her heart. We continued talking and playing a few games for the whole night and she kept making me laugh and I got to make her laugh, which was the highlight of my life. I felt that life finally made sense with her next to me and will continue to believe that for the rest of my life.
