Since the pandemic outlook was so unclear last year, we decided to tie the knot on December 31, 2020 in a very intimate ceremony, joined in-person by immediate family and our officiant. Now we are looking to celebrate. Unfortunately, due to safety considerations and state mandates, our celebration will have to be a lot smaller than we originally planned. If you have not received a new invitation in 2021, we plan to celebrate with you at another time and hope you accept our sincerest apologies.
Amar and Rupsha met in Providence, Rhode Island over martinis at Flemings...a restaurant whose entrance is nearly impossible to find from the street, leaving Amar scrambling over traffic barriers and Rupsha lost in downtown Providence. After months of getting to know each other better, and countless hours of discussing Rupsha's graduate school essays, they decided that this thing they had might actually be a good thing. After two years of dating, Amar initiated a nearly flawless proposal involving wine, cheese, and Maine. Rupsha, while loving the proposal, disagrees with everything written in the prior sentence except the words wine, cheese, and Maine.
